With A rapidly expanding global pandemic, Viking acted quickly to ensure the safety of their passengers. Adding daily testing for all passengers & crew, testing labs & UV clensing robots to all ships, they also needed to reduce physical conatact during the embarkation process to maintain safe travel during the pandemic.

Create a solution allowing passengers to Embark without physical contact.

Incorporate iOS & watchOS native wallet feature to introduce mobile tickets (phase 2 roll out to Android OS).
Redesign physical tickets which previously required physical manipulation to process at onboard scanners.

Successfully eliminated a physical conatct point with crew, reducing transmission across thousands of guests. Just one aspect of Viking's updated Health and Safety process for traveling during a global pandemic.
